AC500-S Safety PLC range – extreme conditions XC modules

CPU

AC500-S Safety PLC offers unique integrated Safety CPU modules SM560-S, SM560-S-FD-1 and SM560-S-FD-4, which are optimally designed to meet even the most complex functional safety application requirements.

S500 – I/O Module

All S500 I/O modules comply to SIL3 (IEC 61508, IEC 62061, IEC 61511) and PL e (ISO 13849-1) functional safety standards. These modules can be used centrally as well as in the remote rack via PROFINET network using PROFIsafe protocol.

Digital Input Module DI581-S

  • 16 safety digital input channels up to SIL2 or PL d / 8 channels up to SIL3 or PL e with 8 test pulse outputs.
  • Field cable length up to 1000 m supported.
  • All channels (including test pulse outputs) are protected against reverse polarity, reverse supply, short circuit and continuous overvoltage up to 30 V DC.

  • 8 safety digital output channels up to SIL3 or PL e and 8 safety digital input channels up to SIL2 or PL d / 4 channels up to SIL3 or PL e with 4 test pulse outputs.

Analog Input Module AI581-S

  • 14 bit resolution.
  • High-speed dedicated analog current module with PROFINET/PROFIsafe functionality with 0.33 ms conversion cycle.

Terminal Unit TU582-S

  • Interference free spring-type (40 points) terminal unit.
  • Module replacement does not interfere with I/O wiring.
